Stair treads carpet without a wall on one or both sides are referred to as open stairs. Measure the stairs to determine the amount of carpet you will need for the corridor. Measure the width of the passage of the points you want the broker to cover. Add 1 inch to this measurement then multiplied by the total number of steps. Add 6 inches to the total. Cut the mat according to these measurements.

Click a location on each step to the edges of the pad, then mark the location of the edges of the stair treads carpet. The filling should be hidden under the carpet when installed. Cut the stuffing for each step. Put the filler pieces into place and secure the passage with electric stapler. Place the rolled up carpet on three notches above the first step. Remove the end of the carpet to the corner between the vertical underpass and down carefully.
